The choice of fabric was considered at lengths to ensure we could present you with a product that is aesthetically pleasing and hits the mark for comfort, quality, performance and style.

Our garments are made from compression material which is synonymous to high-performance athleisure textiles meaning your Smithers will feel robust and heavier on the body.

The yarn used in the fabric creates a flexible and stretchable material that is suitable for all motion activity, particularly swimming. It’s breathable and moisture-engineered to keep you cool, dry and comfortable.

The added benefits of our fabric include quicker drying time thanks to permanent moisture technology that moves moisture 4x faster than competing technologies. You’ll be able to drip dry in the sun in no time!

Each pair of Smithers swimwear is graded UPF 50+ and protects against soils like sweat and chlorine. Each garment is finished with a soft front lining for reinforcement and wearability.

Smithers products are designed with an internal drawcord to give you the option of wearing it on either the inside or the outside. Additionally, each pair of Smithers swimwear comes with a premium metallic cord-end for an added sense of sophistication.
